Os estudantes da Universidade de São Paulo entraram em greve nesta quinta-feira (21) e, em frente à reitoria, pediram a contratação de professores, a permanência estudantil na universidade com o auxílio das bolsas e a reformulação das políticas para a permanência dos alunos. Os funcionários da instituição também aderiram ao movimento.
“A pauta central é pela contratação de mais professores. Algumas unidades, institutos, faculdades e cursos estão em situação precária. Nós precisamos repor, não para chegar ao patamar ideal, mas só para repor as perdas que tivemos nos últimos nove anos, que chegam a, pelo menos, 100 professores””, disse Mandi Coelho, uma das diretoras do Centro Acadêmico de Letras.
Em reunião entre representantes dos estudantes e da reitoria, ficou combinado novo encontro para até o dia 28, nos moldes de mesa de negociação, para tratar de todos os temas reivindicados pelos alunos.
Melhores condições de trabalho
O diretor do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores da USP (Sintusp), Reinaldo Santos de Souza, disse os funcionários estão mobilizados por melhores condições de trabalho e pela renovação do acordo coletivo. “A questão do nosso acordo coletivo está ligada à organização e condições de trabalho, principalmente pelo acúmulo de horas que temos de compensação no final do ano”, afirmou.
